Professeur, Canada Research Chair, UQAM
I have joined the Computer Science Department of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in January 2016 and I hold currently the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Privacy-preserving and Ethical Analysis of Big Data since December 2017. My main research area is the Protection of Privacy, with a particular strong focus on location privacy. I am also interested to solve long-term scientific questions such as addressing the tension between privacy and the analysis of Big Data as well as the fairness, accountability and transparency issues raised by personalized systems.

Professor at UQAM since 2023. My main research interests are in language-based security, with a focus on logical foundations for concurrent and quantum systems.
Professeur, UQAM
I joined the UQAM Computer Science Department in january 2020. Before that, I was Directeur de Recherche at
LAAS-CNRS and deputy director of the
Computer Security GDR, a virtual lab encompassing all Computer Security academic research in France. My current main research interests lie in applied cryptography for privacy protection, essentially via the use of homomorphic cryptography, and that can be applied to a variety of applications, from mobility to genomics and beyond.
